About
I am a psychiatrist double board-certified in Psychiatry and Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry, which is a subspecialty of Psychiatry that focuses on the treatment of patients with co-occurring medical conditions.
I received my BA from Columbia University and MD from New York Medical College. I completed psychiatric residency training at New York Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Cornell Medical Center, where I was the recipient of the Payne Whitney Faculty Council Award for Excellence in Teaching, and a fellowship in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center/Weill Cornell Medical Center. I have developed an academic focus on the integration of psychiatric and medical care, and have both published and presented my work at national conferences. I am a member of the American Psychiatric Association and the Academy of Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry.
I am a Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Weill Cornell Medical College, where I teach residents and medical students. I previously worked on the Consultation-Liaison service at the University of Pennsylvania, where I was an Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychiatry. I am a candidate in Adult Psychoanalysis at the Columbia University Center for Psychoanalytic Training and Research.
